Once the Basic Concept on how the IT KASM was designed is understood, it easy to grow the IT KASM into a powerful tool that can be utilized in any IT Organization.

1. The IT KASM is made up of Kaves (all the boxes on the webpage)
2. Kaves display the Mines
3. Mines are where all the data and content live

KASM is created with 3 simple steps: Create a Mine, Present it in a Kave, and display it on an IT KASM Page

Step 1: Create a Mine

  • Trackers - Are anything that needs to be tracked.
  • Tasks - Any tasks that need to be assigned out.
  • Resources - Any resources that need to be readily accessible.
  • Knowledge Base - Any troubleshooting documentation or reference.
  • Asset Management - Manage all assets within an organization.
  • Operational Activities - quickly understand operational events taking place.
  • On-Call - Manage multiple on-call schedules.
  • Search - Quickly search all or individual mines.
  • Vendors - Provides quick access to Vendors and vendor resources.

    Step 2: Create a KAVE

    Define What Mines you want to see in KASM, as much or as little of a Mine.
    Define how you want to see the Mines: colors, size, style.

    Step 3: Create a KASM Page to publish

    Multiple Layouts are available to choose from.
    Define multiple tab view KASM Pages.
    Arrange and adjust Kaves positioned on a KASM Page.
